Shriddha Chaitanya

PhD

Shriddha graduated with a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal in 2017. She received her MS degree from Columbia University in 2018, majoring in the Lightwave/Photonics track of Electrical Engineering. As a part of her undergraduate degree, she worked on data characterization of electromagnetic calorimeter for the ongoing International Linear Collider project in collaboration with Ecole Polytechnique, France. Shriddha joined the Lipson Nanophotonics Group in 2018 as a Masters student and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree. During Masters, she worked on fabrication and characterization of soft-lithography based optical imaging and fiber-to-chip coupling platforms. Her research interests include novel 3D photonic and CMOS integration techniques and photonic inverse design. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, squash, reading and painting.
