PhD
Eric graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2021 with a B.S. and M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. There, he studied the tuning and integration of optical and electronic properties in low-dimensional nanomaterials for solar energy harvesting. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army DEVCOM C5ISR Center as an Electrical Engineer, developing Positioning, Navigation, and Timing technologies for Soldiers. Having missed the academic research environment, he joined the Lipson Nanophotonics Group in 2023 as a PhD student in Electrical Engineering. Outside of the lab, he likes to explore the wilderness, learn about geography, and cook food.
